Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • Salt & pepper

Instructions

    Divide the beef into 4 loose balls.

    Heat a cast iron skillet very hot and add a little oil.

    Smash each ball flat, season, and cook 2-3 minutes per side.

    Add cheese, let it melt, and serve on buns.
